Model 5X2 has the same barrel as Model 5 (2 3/8in) but the handle is slim (7/8in).  The handle was designed slim for kids who have smaller hands or for the player that likes to add a bat grip of choice. Due to the slim handle and larger barrel, this model is considered end loaded.
